After the release of FrontierVille last year there has been a lot of avid players who are looking for extra and now Zynga Inc. has released an expansion called ‘Pioneer Trail’ originally named Oregon Trail.

FrontierVille players can now form parties with roles which are named; Doctor, Hunter and Carpenter. All the roles can be fulfilled with non-playable characters or by the player’s friends, Plus Zynga also has plans in the nearby future to allow players add other players in the community which will definitely add more functionality to the gameplay.

FrontierVillers must proceed upto the ‘Fort Courage’.

There are three unique locations which lead upto the final destination. However there is a series of quests that must be completed before you can move onwards down the trail. Some quests involve your friends but others involve your independence where you’re truly put to the challenge!

We advise you choose people in your party who will be active and fit for the role as you need them to preform certain actions throughout the conquest. If you make a dreadful mistake whilst hiring friends don’t worry to much as you have the ability to fire a party member at anytime in the trail.

You’ll be scored throughout this process so try not to make a wrong decision because it may affect your overall final score. Aswell as earning a score you’ll be earning points too which will allow you to purchase some items for your homestead.

However, sad news hit us not long ago that these games are set to expire. Existing players will be able to continue playing up until August 22nd. New users and purchases for these games have been disabled to prepare for their social departure.

Our goal at Zynga is to bring players the most fun and engaging social games on the web. Despite a strong community, the popularity of these games has declined significantly. We have decided to shut down Fashion Wars, Pirates: Rule the Caribbean and Special Forces in 90 days and focus our efforts on bringing new and innovative games to our players.

As of today, these games are no longer available to new users and will not accept additional purchases. Existing players will be able to access these games until August 22, 2011. Below are some frequently asked questions that may help out.

To help us transition the closure of the game we are leaving the goodbye threads open until August 23, 2011. We’d like to hear your favorite memories about these gaming experiences. Please take a moment to say goodbye to these three games with us.

This game is roughly just a game of scramble and you compete with your active friends online or otherwise you can compete with random players online.

The downside is waiting around, but hopefully your rival is active enough to keep the game going steadily. To let your friends know that you’ve started a game of scramble on the application, you can alert them by posting a feed onto your wall.

Overall, the game is much more enhanced and addicting!
